Blue Jays 4 Twins 0

Looks like the additions of Punto and Castro has made the infield play more stable. Castro has played superb defense and has shown a little pop with the bat. You have to love Punto. A hustle player all the way. Nice bunt single and stolen base for Punto in 1st inning. On one hand you like the hustle he shows by diving into first base but on the other hand you wonder when he will hurt himself. He hasn't shown himself to be a durable player thus far in his career

Joe Mays did a nice job to get out of 2nd without any runs. Bases were loaded with 2 outs. Sinker doesn't seem to be getting many ground balls today.

Nice defensive grabs and tosses to covering pitcher by Morneau in 4th and 8th.

Nice catch to end inning by Hunter in 6th. Outfield defense has been sloppy of late so nice to see them put together a good game.

Bullpen has struggled of late and did once again today. Romero gave up 2 runs in 8th with help from Crain.

Offense has been struggling. Getting to the point that you don't know if they're just in a slump or if this is a bad offensive team.

Stars of the Game
Joe Mays - 2 runs in 7 innings. He kept his team in game but offensive could only provide 2 measly hits.

Nick Punto - sweet bunt hit in 1st inning.

Shannon Stewart - had the other hit, an infield single.
